THE CUBAN CENTER

The Cuban Center will provide a home base for all those from responsible branches of Cuban thought who seek to help restore the Cuban family to its place of authority and responsibility and to educate and develop basic morality in its children and to rebuild the economic and social institutions of the Republic of Cuba.

The Cuban Center supports those independent Cuban artists, intellectuals and academic scholars who are struggling to "open a space" where today there is essentially no room for intellectual liberty. The Cuban Center's goal is to help them rescue the national identity of the Republic of Cuba.

The Cuban Center reunites, selectively, those artists, academics and intellectuals, both inside and outside Cuba, who are interested in developing the objectives described above and are ready to work responsibly and cooperatively to bring the purposes of the Center into reality.

The Cuban Center will constitute a permanent forum with the means to publish and disseminate the works, analyses, discussions, proposals and conclusions of its participants.
